For your consideration is a one-of-a-kind antique Yemenite Jewish Bowsani necklace. This is an exceptionally rare necklace composed of 5 large silver filigree Bowsani pendants. The focal box-shaped pendant has a lever that slides out to reveal a hidden compartment.
Additionally, there are two triangular shaped pendants and two circular shaped pendants as well. Each of these pendants have antique inlaid trading beads. On the exterior of all the pendants are a variety of granulation, rosette patterns and intricate wire design techniques.
All the pendants consist of silver dangling bobbles. The focal pendant, known as Mahfahza, has large bobbles, mini pendants with rosette patterns, and filigree bobbles. There are also antique trading beads, agate and an antique blue Czech glass bead inlaid into the Mahfaza.
Lastly, the necklace is gorgeously held together by three-strand hand-twisted silver Bowsani ribbon links.
