  • Condition: When I found this old CHIEF 4" vise it was covered with an oily grime. After cleaning it up with some parts cleaner i noticed that there was not much old paint left on it at all. So I wired brushed the whole vise and coated it with some WD40 to prevent rust and wiped off the excess. This is now what it looks like. I kinda like the "RAW" look of it, as it sits in the pictures. The vise opens and closes smoothly with no issues at all. Both jaw plates look "VERY GOOD" (see pics). The swivel base also rotates and locks down tightly, as it should. There are no breaks or cracks in the cast iron or steel parts of this vise at all.
