Made in Israel 935 silver green stone pin pendant

Description

This is a wonderful pin pendant in .935 silver (higher content than sterling often used in older European or Israeli pieces). The center green stone could be eilat, but I do not know that for sure. The chain is
not
sterling, and does not have a clasp, so unless you use a pair of jewelry pliers to open the jump ring that connects each end, which could easily be done, it is affixed to this chain for the time being. Pendant measures 1.75" x 1 1 /8", not including the loop or 4mm bale. The pendant weighs about 19 grams, which includes the weight of the stone. That is only an approximate weight, in any case, because I cannot remove the pendant from the chain, so it actually came up as 19.4 on the scale and I am rounding downwards to compensate for the few chain links which may have added a little extra weight. The chain is 24" long and 3mm wide. The tarnish on the pin pendant has given the silver a gold-ish tint which is really pretty, and the tarnish on the chain matches that color. Great patina. Overall in very good pre-owned condition, flaws as noted.
